AllBell Terms of Use
Version 6 · Effective 5 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Şakir Şek, who provides AllBell ("we"), when you use the AllBell app and the service behind it. When you tap "I accept" at sign-in, you accept them. If you do not accept them you cannot use the app; you can sign out, or write to us to have your account deleted.
1. What AllBell is
AllBell is a shared alarm app. One person sets an event and a time and shares a link. Everybody who opens the link and agrees to join gets an alarm set on their phone for that time. Whether it rings depends on the phone and operating-system limits described in section 4.
Until 5 October 2026 AllBell was called CoWake. The new name changes nothing else in these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use AllBell. If you are under 18, you may use AllBell only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
- You sign in with your Google account. Your account is yours alone; do not let anyone else use it.
- Your name is visible to the people whose alarm you set and to the people in the same event. You can change it in Profile at any time.
- You can delete your account in Profile at any time. The Privacy Notice explains what deleting it does.
3. Events and alarms
- Joining an event means agreeing that its alarm is set on your phone. Nobody can put you in an event without you; joining is always your own act.
- Everybody in an event sees each other's name, whether each other's alarm is set on their phone, whether and when they got up, how many times they snoozed, whether their alarm rang silently, and whether their phone reported anything that morning. The invite page says so before you join.
- The person who set an event, and anybody they make an organizer, can change its time, end it, or remove somebody from it. You are told about a change of time and the alarm is set for the new time. If you do not want it, you can leave the event.
- You can leave an event at any time. Once you leave, its alarm is no longer set on your phone and you no longer see that event's History.
- Events that are over or were ended stay in History for two years, and are then deleted.
4. How reliable the alarm is
AllBell does everything your phone allows so that an alarm rings on time, but it cannot guarantee that every alarm will ring. An alarm may not ring, may ring silently or may ring late if your phone is off or out of battery, the operating system stops the app, a required permission is off, the phone is in total silence mode, or the alarm volume is down. Do not use AllBell as the only alarm or reminder for anything vital, medical, urgent or safety-related. The app's "Make sure your alarm can ring" screen shows the known problems that would stop an alarm ringing on your phone.
5. Rules of use
You agree not to use AllBell to:
- disturb, harass or mislead anyone;
- pretend to be somebody else;
- put unlawful content, or content that infringes anyone's rights, into event names or your name;
- put special categories of personal data, such as health or beliefs, into event names (an event's name is visible to its participants and to anybody who opens its link);
- try to access another person's account or data without permission, interfere with the service or its security, or abuse the service with automated tools.
6. Restricting or closing an account
You can delete your account yourself (section 2). We may restrict, suspend or close an account only for a good reason: a serious or repeated breach of the rules in section 5, unlawful use, or where it is needed to protect the service, other users or security. Any measure will be proportionate to the problem. Where we can, we will tell you beforehand and say why; you can write to us to object. Your rights described in the Privacy Notice remain even if your account is closed.
7. Changes to the service
AllBell is still being developed. Features may change, be added or be removed. The service may be unavailable for a while because of maintenance or technical problems; alarms already set on your phone stay on your phone during that time. If we change these terms, the app shows you the new version and asks for your agreement again before you continue.
8. Other services
Sign-in works through Google, notifications through Google's notification infrastructure, and the connection to the server through Cloudflare. An outage or change in those services can affect some of AllBell's functions.
9. Intellectual property
The AllBell name and logo, and the app's software and design, belong to Şakir Şek. The fonts, sounds and open-source components in the app belong to their owners and are used under their own licences. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use AllBell for personal purposes in line with these terms, which ends when these terms end.
10. Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the applicable law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage caused by an alarm not ringing or ringing late. This does not affect any liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent and gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Personal data
The Privacy Notice explains how your personal data is processed. It is information, not part of these terms, and it is not something you accept.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected, including your right to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or court where you live.
